Vadim Rabinovich, a pro-Russia Ukrainian Rada member, wrote on Facebook that the visit could be a “countermove” by Beijing in response to Ukraine’s nationalization of Motor Sich. Chinese investors in the aircraft engine factory are fighting the nationalization, with muted support from Beijing.
