The final communiqué of the Peace Summit was signed by 80 states and four organizations: What was declared?

During the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland on June 15-16, the participants agreed on a common position on three points: food security, nuclear and energy security, and the release of all captured and deported Ukrainians.

The document emphasizes that nuclear energy and facilities must be safe, secure, reliably guarded, and not harmful to the environment. Ukrainian nuclear power plants, particularly Zaporizhzhia, must operate safely and securely under Ukraine’s full control and IAEA supervision.

The document also contains a clause regarding the uninterrupted production and supply of food products. Attacks on merchant ships, civilian ports, and infrastructure are unacceptable. It is emphasized that food security cannot be used as a weapon.

Prisoners of war must be released, and all deported and illegally displaced Ukrainian children and civilians must be returned to Ukraine.

Among the countries that did not sign the communiqué are Saudi Arabia, Thailand, India, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, and the UAE.
